In todays Brighton live lesson, our 2nd year class went into a seperate room and had a production meeting about our scenes, and how we wanted to find out the real historical meanings of the scenes, so we can portray this to the audience by using signs and the projector. We want the audience to understand how each scene is relevant to the real life history of Hitlers reign. So we researched together about certain events that happened in the 1930's, which link with the scenes in UI.
For example, Scene 7 connects to the Reich stag fire, which Hitler was responsible for, and we are going to write these simple facts on different signs and use the power point on the projector, so at the end or beginning of each scene we will show this to the audience, and give them enough time to read it, so they can see the links between the play and the history, as this is a political piece of theatre, we want te audience to understand the facts.
